What's News, as many teams have seen, WFC has been posting when a team pays
In the past we have always taking Hugh risks with teams. In this day & time WFC has been force to change our policy on entering tournaments. Starting Sept 1 2010 we want all teams to pre-pay WFC events. There will be 2 prices on entering event. The first price will be the one posted on any event. The one teams can pre-pay by. but if a team choose to wait, or jumps in later to event, or forgot to mail the check or many more possible reasons and wants to pay at the tournament the price will increase $30.00. Example, if an WFC event is posted to pre-pay at $250.00
and team falls into bring entry fees to the event add $30.00 dollars. This would give the price of playing at $280.00. Our Pay Pal account is very easy to do.
First you do NOT need a Pay Pal account. This account is ours and it will take team checks, team debt cards, & credit cards. We have been in business for 12 years and any refunds are done ASAP.

(In some areas a 40 ft rubber will be used for 14u teams.)

The players age on Dec 31, 2009 is the eligibility

For 16u B & 18u B teams in Low Country area of SC & South Georgia.
The WFC B World Series on July 12-18,2010 in Summerville,SC has already accepted berths from teams in IN,IL, CT, & OH. in these age groups.We are asking our local teams to play a well ran WFC World Series and play teams from all over the country.Come join us!

Help Wanted…….. World Fastpitch Connection is looking for State Directors in GA, NC,SC & Area Directors thru out Eastern United States

Do you love sports? Do you have a passion for Fastptich Softball? Are you well organized? Energetic? If so, we may have a spot for you. Duties will include setting up and running fastptich softball tournaments, & developing local umpire organizations. You will have a defined territory with a lot of support from the state and national offices.



WFC Points Race will include all WFC events from Feb 20 thru Aug 29, 2010 for age groups 8u10u12u14u16u.teams that are 16u teams but play in the HS age groups still the same point on placement
In each age group rewards are as follows:


1st Place

Free entry fee to the WFC Battle at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC on Nov 19-21, 2010.(Not including any gate fees)
(If a team elects not to play the free entry, the free entry cannot be transferred.)

$1,000.00 WFC credit towards any future WFC events.
(This credit applies to the awarded team winner only. If a head coach quits or winning team splits up all credits are forfeited and do not transfer.)

3 dozen WFC balls.

4ft Team Trophy
3ft individual trophies

$50.00 gift card

2nd Place

In each age group points are earned as following:
50 For WFC sanction
50 For playing in required point events
50 For 1st placement
25 For 2nd placement
10 For 3rd placement
5 For 4th placement

Extra Points
100 For playing any WFC State event
100 For playing any WFC World Series event
100 For playing any Extra points WFC events
(In extra points events placement points are the same)

WFC cannot control how the points race may finish. In the case of a tie, the tied teams must split the prizes.
