World Fastpitch Connection, LLC (WFC) was established in 2004 by its founder, Ben Wofford (1958-2018) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ben was inspired by his love and passion for girls fastpitch softball and closeness of the game within his family. WFC saw an opportunity to incorporate its niche and awareness of girls fastpitch softball to the the Grand Strand area. This idea blossomed and grew into consistently bringing dozens of teams for tournaments annually.
WFC's mission is to host well-organized, premier girls fastpitch softball events.
Over time, WFC expanded its mission to host tournaments throughout South Carolina and eventually to other states along the Eastern Seaboard and Mid-Atlantic.
WFC gained success with the help of loyal teams and employees over the last two decades. It's core mission remains since the death of it's founder in late 2018. WFC is now led by his daughter, Kelly Wofford, and works to continue the legacy Ben created.
